Prudential management towards a long-term plan of action

Fondation FondaMental received an initial grant of €5.5 million. The Foundation aims to collect funds privately to ensure funding of its projects and the durability of its activities. In order to maximize the preservation of the initial endowment Fondation FondaMental favours a reserves policy.

A year of strong expansion

2011 constitutes a watershed in Fondation FondaMental wich is characterised by an extensive expansion of its financial resources.Trust and generosity of donors, testators, but also the public and private partners have made this expansion possible.

The Foundation expresses her deepest gratitude to them. This process is linked to the implementation of important partnerships corresponding to the enforcement of ambitious and multi-annual projects. In line with the last fiscal year, expenditure incurred in 2011 by the Fondation FondaMental have been (focus on a greater share) affected to Fondation Fondamental's statutory mission.

As a result, spending dedicated to these missions represent 75% of Foundation Fondamental's expenditures in 2011 compared with 68 % one year earlier. This has been all possible without increasing of raising funds.

The 2011 accounts of Fondation FondaMental were certified by Pricewaterhouse Coopers Audit, represented by Mr Francis Chartier.
